Love and Other Spooky Things : A Novelette

Hallie is a burnt out nurse who works in the emergency department at OHSU in Portland Oregon. She lives with her cat Nala in her cozy and recently haunted one bedroom apartment, where she spends most of her time. (When she isn't working.) With a cup of hot tea, a good book, and Nala purring on her lap. She may seem like your typical ER nurse...but she has a secret...she can see ghosts.
Hallie has been helping spirits cross over since she was a little girl by assisting them settle their unfinished business. Sometimes acting as their therapist. She used to enjoy helping them, but the last few years have been hard for Hallie, after losing someone close to her, she threw herself into her work.
That is until she meets an unusual ghost. Ben.
Ben isn't like other ghosts. He is clingy, much to happy for a recently dead man, and just wants to have a good time...forcing Hallie out of her comfort zone...which she doesn't completely hate...as long as handsome Ben keeps letting his "force" rub up against her. Though, she'll never admit it!

Love and Other Spooky Things is a novelette, under 15k words. This is a short, sweet, and fun story you can enjoy in an afternoon.
